We are delighted to announce that building works will commence 6th July 2009 and should be complete by end of Feb 2010.  God's love and grace abounds!

We have now officially moved out!  From Sunday 12th July we shall be worshipping in the 'upper room' of Gainsborough Methodist Church (GMC) at 10am.  We will be using the entrance from the car park behind the Church.

There is to be a change to our weekly programme whilst we are out of our building, please see the relevant pages for more information!

We also look forward to our new officers taking up their appointment in August - Majors Geoff & Glenda Martin.

Thank you to all who helped with our Spring Festival on the 8th May - the sum of £861.25 was raised.

Corps Purpose Statement:
"To impact our community with the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ"

A Christian Church and a registered charity - with heart to God and hand to man

Matthew 25: 37-40 (NIV)
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Prayer
Lord, thank you for the opportunities you provide us with each day to help others, may we always see the needs around us and help wherever we possibly can.

We pray just now for your guiding hand, and ask that you give us the gift of discernment to know that it is you speaking to us.  We thank you for the amazing works you do each day and pray that we never take them for granted.

Amen
