Poverty & Homelessness Action Week 2010
Resources for schools and churches from the Poverty & Homelessness Action Week website. Includes lesson and assembly ideas, and some useful multimedia presentations about poverty in the UK.

NEW! Homelessness lesson ideas for 10-14 year-olds
Lesson ideas for 10-14 year-olds now available to download below. The activities focus on The Salvation Army's Sandwich People project based at Booth House in Swindon and can be used as part of RE or Citizenship work in Upper Key Stage 2/Lower Key Stage 3.

LINK for schools
A new secondary school lesson on Homelessness and The Salvation Army based on films from The Salvation Army's LINK video magazine. Help pupils think about all the issues surrounding homelessness and hear real life stories of people who have experienced homelessness and who are now being supported by The Salvation Army to rebuild their lives and find homes of their own. 

Homelessness Sunday (31st January 2010)
A secondary school assembly exploring how different people have responded to homelessness, featuring The Salvation Army's work.
